Terms and Conditions

 

We At Singh Movers we aim to provide our customers with a stress-free house moving and office Moving experience and we work hard to make sure that every move goes smoothly. To make sure our customers and team get a fair deal we operate under the following terms.

 

1- No matter our best efforts to transport your furniture safely, accidents may still happen. To file an insurance claim on any damage sustained during transport (other than electronics), please notify our office within 24 hours from when your removal took place.

 

2- When filing claims on electronic items such as refrigerators or televisions, we cannot process those claims unless an on-site inspection has taken place. Televisions that have been damaged or destroyed cannot be insured without being placed in an appropriate television box for storage. Our experience indicates they should avoid common wear-and-tear damage such as scratches on walls or refrigerators when coming to us for storage. IF wear and tear damage causes costs, we require that you file a claim to get reimbursed between $50-150 depending on the extent of damage incurred. At our firm, we carefully consider every request and only accept reasonable ones; requests such as purchasing an expensive refrigerator to cover wall scratches or demanding $4000 compensation don't meet our standards of acceptable behavior and won't be taken into consideration by us.

 

3- While we make sure that every item is carried with care, some fragile items like crockery might break while transport due to any bumps on the road. We are not liable for breakage for any items in the boxes which are not packed by us.

 

4- While we are known for our smiling faces and excellent customer service, we do have a zero-tolerance policy against aggression and disrespect of our team. We can deny serving customers who become aggressive or disrespect our team.

 

5- If you face any issues during the move or want to provide any feedback regarding one of our team members please ring our office at 1300-074-644 or email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you promptly.

 

6- If you need to cancel, please notify us three days in advance; otherwise an early cancellation fee of one hour will be assessed in order to accommodate another customer whose reservation would otherwise have been compromised by your early cancellation. This allows us to accommodate another guest whose reservations would otherwise have been compromised due to your early cancellation.

 

7- Booking online incurs an extra $50 booking charge which will be subtracted from your final bill upon its delivery. Cancellations cannot be refunded; however alterations to existing reservations can be done free-of-cost; additional changes will incur fees.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Due to our no toll roads policy, payment must be made before dropping off items; cash transfers and cash are accepted with a 2-percent fee assessed on credit cards accepted as well as Diners Club with 1 percent GST tax and 10 per cent GST credit cards being accepted as valid forms of payment; terms and conditions can also be found online ensuring secure transactions between cardholders.
